Video: Symbolism renewed

I have not watched music videos very much over the last 4-8 years, but I've found one worthy of a post. It's the Dixie Chicks new one for the song "Not Ready to Make Nice". Although I do not agree with what they said years ago I think they produced an awesome video with enough symbolism to choke an alligator.(yeah that one is an original)

TRI me

I finally broke down and joined LA Tri-Club. I went on my first club ride this morning and it felt much like the Fraternity in college. The calendar listed the ride as a nice 22 miles around PV, but no we get there and the group decided to head out and do 50 miler. Woot that was fun... I hung in despite no GU or powerbars. I even took the sprint victory from Peter(a 6'6" giant cut from marble). At the top he just said where the hell did you come from man, I had pulled a nice slingshot move around him and basically powered up the hill alone. All in all this is better than being peer pressured to drink those last five shots just because some idiot poured them.
