Engaged... Coe... Can it be?
Well my Internet followers I've gotten myself into another one of those situations where you'll be thinking....only Coe could do that! The evening started very innocent, as they all do, with dinner and some coffee. At some point in the evening Pasadena girl had ears plug in and claimed she could not hear anything I was saying. Being the smarty that I am, I turn my back to her and said "Will you marry me"? No response. I turned back around and we exchange two more sentences and then in a moment of silence she says "Yes, I would love to"! Now does that mean I'm engaged? How do I get myself into these messes? Seriously cast your votes in the comments below. Her comment was followed up by "I always thought it would be more romantic than that".

See, this is why I'm learning Spanish. It's because one tends to say foul things like "Will you marry me?" right in front of the intended victimizer.
Wouldn't this whole thing have had a benign outcome if you had simply said "Tum mujse shaadi karogi?". Pasadena-girl would've vaguely heard you driveling and simply chalked it up to an extra hour of needed therapy.
Seriously dude. Take the Hindi lessons.
