Family: Airport fun for Christmas

Well the holiday's are upon us and I of course get to travel. This Christmas I flew into Kansas City International Airport on Thursday the 22nd. My aunt was picking me up and taking me to my grandparents house. I slept form LA to Phoenix where I switched planes to MCI. I walked off to plane and outside to see if my ride had arrived. There was my aunt sitting in her car. Wow a family member at the correct terminal and on time to pick me up....mark it down as a first! I wait for my checked bag, empty to be filled with Christmas loot and watch as a policeman harasses my aunt to move the car along. The bag comes and off we go. Still a little dis-oriented from the flight I looked up to see a road sign that said HWY 152. A little nervous I asked if we were taking the special "backway" path to grandma's. My aunt said oh no she thought we could stop by a winery on the way home. So off to Holy Field Winery we went. We opened the winery door to see Corky. Now this is one big dog. I get harassed for having shorts on with flip-flops being that it is like 53 degrees outside. We sample some wines, all on the sweet side, and purchase some for the family dinners. All and all this was on of the best airport arrivals I've had that involved family. Don't get me wrong mom and dad the cold sandwiches and drinks that you bring are good, but being in the right terminal at the right time is priceless! :)
